This is the most prestigious music awards ever to acknowledge our Māori composers.
THE AWARDS
THE MANDATE of the Waiata Māori Music Awards is to produce and maintain a music competition that is open to all Māori music industry professionals i.e. all composers and artists.
The awards have grown in stature to be the premier event for Maori artists in the music genre and the 2019 awards were no exception. May our Māori artistes continue to be celebrated, recognised and rewarded for their exceptional contribution to the Music industry!
